We start the color analysis course with an inspiring intro to color theory. Then we dive into powerful, no-nonsense reasons for a color consultation—when you need unbeatable arguments.

My “Structured and Creative” system is user-friendly, designed to be simple yet super effective. I break down everything in detail, from each individual color type to the entire consulting process. I’ve expanded on Munsell’s Flow System with the 3 dimensions (value, temperature, and saturation) because I truly believe that structure makes all the difference. You’ll practice sorting colors into the 12 types, and we repeat until it clicks.

Online, I’ll demonstrate the entire process on myself. Offline, you’ll receive your personal color consultation from me. Then you’ll practice with my support on a model. Plus, you’ll work with photo material both offline and online— you will be amazed at how well it works!

Worried about hair color, gray hair, or a favorite shade that doesn’t seem to fit? You’ll learn how to move flexibly within the structure. After the analysis comes the development: We adjust your result to factors like your job or body shape.

Questions about timing, pricing or group size

There are no fixed dates – we set the schedule together, based on what works best for both of us. Most of the time, the color training is one-on-one, just you and me. Occasionally, a second participant might join. Even then, the training stays very personal and tailored to your needs.

Straight answer: No. But I know you expected that – so let me explain why.

You’ll receive a powerful package of knowledge. We work with the 12-season color system (not just the basic 4), and I’ve given this system a clear structure – unlike the “usual” 12-type approach. From experience, I know that only with this structure does color consulting truly work.

You’ll also get comprehensive training material. I, personally, review your model work at no extra cost. And I’m right there with you – answering your questions directly.

This kind of one-on-one color training is truly valuable. Some consider it a real luxury.

If you live in Germany, you can pay in installments.

I’m a certified trainer, officially recognized by the Hamburg Authority for Schools and Vocational Training. That means my training courses are exempt from VAT under §19, paragraph 1 of the German VAT Act (UStG).

And good to know: All your training-related costs can be included in your tax return as professional development expenses.

The legal regulations apply. As a private individual, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal after your registration. If the color training starts within those 14 days, the right of withdrawal expires. This right of withdrawal does not apply to business clients. Please refer to the terms and conditions attached to your registration form. Once the training has been used or started, a refund is no longer possible.

We’ll set the training dates together. After that, you’ll receive a confirmation form from me, which you fill out, sign, and send back. Once that’s done, I’ll send you the invoice, which is to be paid before the training begins.

Questions about material and technique

You don’t need any materials before we start. For online training, I demonstrate color analysis using my own drapes. If you don’t yet have your own color fans, I’ll send you a full set of color fans in advance – either for printing or as color chart cards. This way, you’ll have a complete set of all 12 seasonal types right in front of you at home. We offer everything you need for a complete consultation. Take a look at our shop: en.color-style.com.

For color analysis, you’ll need: one set of drapes with a cape, at least one set of color passes.

If you go for the full-size drape set, plan to invest around €800. We also offer a more affordable cape version. Additionally, you’ll need a mirror and daylight lamps for your setup.

No, use what you already have. The important thing is to work with simulated daylight, ideally coming from both sides. This ensures even lighting on the face.

In principle, yes. Show them to me during the training, and I’ll see how you can integrate them.

When you learn with me, you get a consultant discount from the very first moment. I strongly advise against working without equipment. Color consultations without drapes, a mirror without daylight lamps – I consider this to be lacking in quality.

You need a good internet connection, ZOOM as the video chat software, adequate lighting, and the ability to print out practice materials.

Questions about qualifikation & other matters

Definitely, that’s actually essential. Within the structure, we should always be flexible and respond to the circumstances, desires, and preferences of the clients. I’ll show you how to do this because only then will the consultation be truly personalized. The client must remain the focus. That’s why my motto is: Structured and flexible.
